I have been making photographs of people, places and communities across the U.S. for more than 18 years. I worked as a photojournalist for The Gainesville Sun (FL), The Ann Arbor News (MI), Syracuse Papers (NY) and The Oakland Tribune (CA). My style is very in the moment, hands on. My specialty is shooting events on location, from the action on the field or court, to behind the scenes production at local breweries, wineries and sawmills. My studio is based in Ukiah, where I create portraits that capture the essence and diversity of my subjects. I also work closely with local web page designers to create web sites that are full of captivating and appealing images.
